On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2025), major Lao media outlets have published articles lauding the historic victory of Vietnam.

Pasaxon (The People), the official newspaper of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, on January 10 front-paged an article spotlighting the good relationship between Laos and Vietnam, affirming that it has been increasingly consolidated and cultivated.

Pathet Lao Newspaper run by the Lao New Agency (KPL) on April 25 published an article, highlighting the long-standing solidarity and sound traditional friendship between Laos and Vietnam.

Lao newspapers on January 7 published articles on the upcoming official visit to Vietnam on January 8-10 by Lao Prime Minister Phankham Viphavanh, highlighting that the trip aims to strengthen the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

The PathetLao Daily on September 1 published on the front page an editorial hailing Vietnam's achievements and the Laos-Vietnam relationship on the occasion of Vietnam's National Day (September 2).

The Lao newspapers on July 27 published articles featuring Laos – Vietnam fighting alliance and great dedication made by Vietnamese voluntary soldiers and experts in Laos, on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of Day of Invalids and Martyrs (July 27).

The 13th National Congress marks the strong development of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), affirmed Pathet Lao newspaper of the Lao News Agency (KPL) in a front-page article on January 28.
