The rapidly changing international environment, marked by profound disruptions across most sectors, is presenting both opportunities and challenges for the realisation of the development goals set by the Communist Party of Vietnam in the period ahead, said former Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Andrew Goledzinowski.

Vietnam has a stable political system, and that is one of the major strengths of this Southeast Asian nation, said Andrew Goledzinowski, former Australian Ambassador to Vietnam from 2022 to 2024, in an interview with a Vietnam News Agency (VNA) correspondent in Australia.

From a backward, poor and essentially rural-based society and economy, isolated from the rest of the world, Vietnam has developed into a thriving, dynamic, modern, middle-income country with extensive international commercial and human links, former Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Graham Alliband has said.
