Kien Giang and Binh Thuan provinces are stepping up their fight against illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing as the European Commission prepares for its fifth inspection.

The People's Committee of the southern province of Ba Ria - Vung Tau has issued a plan to launch a peak month in the fight against illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing activities, and prepared for the fifth working session with the European Commission (EC)’s inspection team.

VOV.VN - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has proposed creating the optimal conditions for the European Commission (EC) inspection team, while chairing a teleconference on the promotion of solutions to illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing, as well as preparations for the fourth inspection of Vietnam’s related efforts by the team.
