Leading Cambodian scholars gathered at a seminar held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Phnom Penh on January 8 to discuss Vietnam’s recent achievements and future development orientation under the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV)’s leadership.

Cambodia’s national news agency Agence Kampuchea Press (AKP) and some other press agencies like Fresh News and AMS have recently run an article spotlighting the good relations between Vietnam and Cambodia.

A scholar from the International Relations Institute under the Royal Academy of Cambodia has spoken highly of the Vietnamese Party and State’s attention to and policy on overseas Vietnamese (OVs), the community’s contributions to the homeland, as well as their growing role in host countries.
