VOV.VN - The Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR), the University of Queensland (UQ), and SunRice Group on March 12 announced a mutual commitment to extend their research partnership to strengthen climate-smart rice production in the Mekong Delta.

Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Do Thanh Trung has expressed his wish for the support from the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) in optimising investment resources for agriculture and rural development.

Australia wishes to expand collaboration with Can Tho city in particular and the Mekong Delta region at large, especially in agricultural area, said the country's Deputy Ambassador to Vietnam Mark Tattersall during a meeting with Deputy Chairman of Can Tho People’ Committee Nguyen Ngoc He on August 7.

A forum on promoting digitalisation to support traceability of agricultural and food products was held in Hanoi on February 28, with the support of the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) in Vietnam.
