World’s largest school run draws over 10,000 participants
VOV.VN - S-Race 2025, the event that set a world record last year for the highest number of participants, kicked off in Ha Tinh province on March 29, bringing together more than 10,000 runners.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Hoang Duc Minh, head of the Department of Teachers and Educational Managers under the Ministry of Education and Training, expressed his hope that students and teachers would serve as S-Race ambassadors, promoting a culture of sportsmanship and encouraging greater awareness of physical fitness among young people.
The competition features three age categories: primary school students (6–11 years old), secondary school students (11–15 years old), and high school students (15–18 years old), with race distances ranging from one to three kilometers.
S-Race 2025 offers total prizes worth up to VND132 million.
In 2024, the event made history when the Guinness World Records recognized it as the world’s largest school run, with an impressive 112,367 students and teachers taking part.
