Women footballers set for play friendly ties ahead of SEA Games 30

VOV.VN -The Vietnam women’s national football team have scheduled a number of friendly matches as a warm up ahead of their participation in the women’s football tournament at the SEA Games 30.

As planned the Vietnamese squad will start with a friendly fixture against a team representing the US Embassy with the Young Football Players Training Center in Hanoi set to host the game on October 26.

This will then be followed by matches against India during their training camp in Hanoi on both November 3 and November 6.

Following these warm-up games, the squad will fly to Japan for a 10-day training camp where they will compete in three more friendly matches.

During the SEA Games 30, the Vietnamese women’s football team will play games in Group B, along with Thailand and Indonesia. The teams in Group A contain the Philippines, Myanmar, and Malaysia.
