VTVcab to provide professional sports from 2018
National professional sport tournaments will be broadcast on the Vietnam Cable Television’s (VTVcab) channels in 2018.

VTVcab is currently the leading television station providing sport events to Vietnamese audiences. This year, apart from international competition, the station will be the only producer to air local most wanted sport tournaments such as football, volleyball, tennis and basketball.
VTVcab, in co-operation with telecommunications company Viettel, holds the copyright of broadcasting and providing signals, images and clips of these events on television, internet and mobile apps.
The station will also focus on producing exciting and creative sport programmes along with a special channel for Esports, the first of its kind in Vietnam, to meet the huge demand from people.
At a ceremony held yesterday in Hanoi, VTVcab also presented Onme, which will bring audiences a new way of watching television programmes through a mobile app.
