VTV clinches broadcast deal for Vietnam-Malaysia Asian Cup qualifier
VOV.VN - Vietnam Television (VTV) has secured exclusive rights to broadcast the 2027 Asian Cup qualifier between Vietnam and Malaysia, scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on June 10.

The match will be aired live and free of charge across VTV’s platforms. The deal comes after concerns over high licensing fees, which had delayed the acquisition. VTV authorized a subsidiary to negotiate the rights, ensuring the game will reach local viewers.
The Vietnamese squad has been training in Hanoi since May 29 and played a friendly against the U22 team on June 4. They will travel to Malaysia on June 6 and have three days to acclimatize before facing the hosts at Bukit Jalil Stadium.
The match is seen as a crucial step in Vietnam’s bid to top Group F and qualify for the 2027 Asian Cup finals.
