Vietnam’s women enjoy comfortable 6-0 win over Indonesia at SEA Games
VOV.VN - The Vietnam women’s national football team secured an easy 6-0 victory over Indonesia in their second qualifying match at the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in the Philippines on November 29, with forwards Tuyet Dung, Nguyen Thi Van, and Huynh Nhu, scoring two goals each.

The match started in a frantic manner, with Tuyet Dung opening the scoring from the penalty spot in the eighth minute.
Securing an early lead allowed the Vietnamese side to dominate the game, putting plenty of pressure on the Indonesian defence throughout the fixture.
Nguyen Thi Van then doubled Vietnam’s lead in the 14th minute with a header before striking against in the 19th minute following a mistake in the Indonesian defence caused by a dangerous a pass from Vietnamese forward Tuyet Dung.
The first half ended with the nation in control and enjoying a comfortable 3-0 lead.
It only took a few minutes following the restart for Huynh Nhu to increase the national team’s advantage and put Vietnam 4-0 up with an effort in the 49th minute.
Huynh Nhu bagged her second goal of the game in the 60th minute with Vu Thi Thuy providing the assist.
Tuyet Dung completed the scoring in the 84th minute to give Vietnam a resounding 6-0 victory over Indonesia.
After securing such a positive result, the Vietnamese women’s football team have booked their place in the semi-finals of the women’s football event at the SEA Games 30.
