Vietnam’s substitutes train ahead of AFF second leg final

VOV.VN -After earning a hard-fought draw against Malaysia in the first-leg final of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup 2018, the substitutes of the Vietnamese national team held a training session on the morning of December 12 in preparation for the second leg.

Those players who started the tie against Malaysia were allowed to rest in the hotel.
Park Hang Seo’s assistant took charge of the training session.
The focus of the session was ball work with the players looking at ease whilst training at the Football Association of Malaysia’s pitch.
Goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung trained hard between the sticks.
Striker Ha Duc Chinh participated in the session.
The player was on the receiving end of criticism due to his poor performance during last night’s match.
Ha Duc Chinh had three clear-cut chances to score in the 30th, 43rd and 44th minute, but failed to put any of the chances away.
Chinh got his head down and showed his determination to make amends at the training session.
Due to injury, Van Toan trained alone.

The Vietnamese national football team will return to Vietnam at 19:30 tonight.
