Vietnam’s national squad trains in Jordan

VOV.VN - The Vietnamese national football squad took part in their first training session in Jordan on March 25 ahead of their upcoming match in the qualifying round of Asian Cup 2019 two days later.

Their journey to Jordan was long and tiring, having to travel from Vietnam to Doha in Qatar, before taking their connecting flight to Jordan.
There are 14 players from Vietnam’s U23 squad on the team, having had recent success as the runner-up of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U23 Championship. They have quickly integrated with elders including Anh Duc, Que Ngoc Hai, and Dinh Thanh Trung.

Luong Xuan Truong has been selected as the vice-captain for the Vietnamese national squad.
The first training session in Jordan lasts for two hours. Coach Park Hang-seo watches his players closely, making sure they follow his tactical plan. He demands that they quickly move to advantageous positions to regain possession.
The match between Jordan and Vietnam will kick off at 10pm (Vietnam time) on March 27, the outcome will decide the winner of Group C. Vietnam is currently second in the group on 9 points, 2 points behind Jordan.
