Vietnamese students win prize at FIDA World Cup 2025
VOV.VN - The Federation of International DroneSoccer Association (FIDA) has presented the Future Generations Award to the Vietnamese team in their first appearance at the FIDA World Cup 2025, held in Jeonju, the Republic of Korea, from September 24 to 27.

FIDA World Cup is the world's largest tournament for drone football, bringing together more than 2,500 athletes from 33 countries and territories worldwide, with 33 national teams and 250 club teams. The tournament features four main categories - international group (INTL class 20, class 40), club group (club class 20, class 40) and 2 other groups.
The Vietnamese DroneSoccer team consists of talented students from many schools in Ho Chi Minh City such as Nguyen Van Be, Nguyen Du, Tran Van On, Le Quy Don, and Binh An secondary schools.
In addition to the Future Generations Award, the Vietnamese DroneSoccer team advanced to the Round of the international group (INTL class 20); the Round 64 of the club group (club class 20) and ranked in the top 32/192 club teams.
DroneSoccer is a team-based sport where players pilot drones. The game combines elements of STEM education, technology, and competitive play, making it accessible to everyone and encouraging skill development in drone operation and strategy.
It is an ICT (Information and Communication Technology) sport that originated in the Republic of Korea and is now a global phenomenon.
