Vietnamese students hold sports event in Washington DC
(VOV) - Sports contests took centre stage at a recent Vietnamese-American cultural and sports event in Washington DC sponsored by the Vietnam Youth and Student Association in collaboration with the Vietnam Embassy.
“This is the second year in a row the contest has been held,” said Ambassador to the US Pham Quang Vinh, adding that he believes it is a great event that should be held annually.
Vinh said it provides a great opportunity for Americans to develop an appreciation for the nation’s diversity and inclusiveness as well as strengthens unity among the country’s students.
