Vietnamese referees to officiate qualifiers for 2025 AFC U20 Asian Cup

VOV.VN - The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has named two referees and two assistant referees from Vietnam to take charge of some group games in the qualification stage of the 2025 AFC U20 Asian Cup.

Le Thi Ly from Ho Chi Minh City and Nguyen Trung Hau from Da Nang will work as the main referee and referee assistant for matches in Group B during the 2025 AFC U20 Women's Asian Cup qualifiers.

Group B matches will take place in Taiwan (China) from September 19 to September 30, gathering young teams from Uzbekistan, Bahrain, Taiwan (China), Cambodia, and Nepal.

Elsewhere, referee Ngo Duy Lan of Long An province and assistant referee Pham Hoai Tam from Ho Chi Minh City have been named among the list of referees on duty in Group E for the 2025 AFC U20 Men's Asian Cup qualifiers.

Group E’s fixtures will get underway in Dushanbe of Tajikistan and will include teams from Tajikistan, Oman, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Meanwhile, Vietnam have been drawn in Group A and will face off against Bhutan, Guam, Bangladesh, and Syria on September 23, September 25, September 27, and September 29, respectively.

Lach Tray Stadium in Hai Phong city will host all of the games in Group A from September 21 to September 29.
