Vietnamese Olympic team ready to take match to Syria

VOV.VN - The Vietnamese Olympic team took their final training session behind closed doors in Indonesia on August 26, as they gear up for their quarter-finals match against Syria in men’s football at the Asian Games 2018 (ASIAD).

The Vietnamese players train hard to make sure they are fully prepared for their match against Syria on August 27.
There is a positive and energetic atmosphere among the whole squad.
Head coach Park Hang Seo and the coaching staff talk to the players about training and tactics.
According to head coach Park Hang Seo, the team have been training with conviction and are ready to secure a good result against Syria.
The training session is held in secret and reporters are only allowed to observe the goings on for the first 30 minutes.
The first half-hour is set aside for light exercise to ensure the tactical plan is a surprise for their opponents.
 
 
Goalkeepers Tien Dung and Van Hoang take individual training as usual.
After light exercise, players begin their more intensive training.
Dinh Trong has only recently returned to full training but pulled up midway through the session with another injury complaint.
In a recent interview with reporters, head coach Park Hang Seo said he has analysed the strengths and weaknesses of the Syrian Olympic team.
The Korean expert said the team are not anxious about the match, on the contrary, they are fully determined to show why they deserve to win.
