Vietnamese dancers triumph at World Masters Games 2025
VOV.VN - Vietnamese dancesport duo Nguyen My Trang and Pham Trung Hoa delivered a standout performance to win first place in the A Latin Senior 2 category at the 2025 World Masters Games, currently underway in Chinese Taipei.

Organised every four years by the International Masters Games Association (IMGA), the World Masters Games is the world’s largest multi-sport event for athletes aged 30 and above.
The 2025 edition kicked off on May 17 in Taipei and New Taipei City, attracting 25,000 athletes from 108 countries and territories competing across 35 sports. The event will run until May 30.
The Vietnamese pair’s gold medal marks a remarkable achievement in a competition known for its high level of international talent and fierce rivalry.
Pham Trung Hoa, a seasoned dancesport professional with 18 years of experience, currently manages a dancesport centre in Hanoi, where he also coaches aspiring dancers.
Meanwhile, Nguyen My Trang, a businesswoman, began dancing in 2017 and has trained with Hoa for the past eight years. She made her international competitive debut in September 2023.
At the World Championship Latin Senior II in Germany last year, they competed against nearly 100 pairs and finished in 42nd place. Their dedication paid off when they officially entered the Top 30 of the World Dancesport Federation (WDSF) rankings on May 6, 2025, securing 29th place globally in the Latin Senior division.
