Vietnamese cyclists win medals at Asian cycling championship
VOV.VN - Two local cyclists Xuan Loc and Be Hong successfully overcame a number of strong rivals to win medals at the Asian Road Cycling Championship, which is taking place in Rayong in Thailand from June 7 to June 13.
This comes after young cyclist Nguyen Thi Be Hong secured a gold medal for Vietnam on June 7 in the junior women’s 15 km individual time trial.
Elsewhere, Pham Le Xuan Loc also bagged a bronze medal in the junior men’s 30 km individual time trial.
Furthermore, their teammate, An Giang-born cyclist Tang Quy Trong, will compete in the U23 men’s 30 km individual time trial on June 9.
The Asian cycling championship 2023, which will conclude on June 13, has attracted dozens of male and female athletes from several Asian countries, including China, Iran, Kazakhstan, and Japan.
