Vietnamese athletes win bronze medals at Asian Senior Karate Championship

VOV.VN - Vietnam’s delegation at the 16th Asian Senior Karate Championship 2019 won three bronze medals as the competition closed in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on July 21.

On the final day of tournament, athletes Ho Thi Thu Hien, Trang Cam Lanh, Le Thi Thu Thao, and and Nguyen Thi Huong picked up a bronze medal in the women’s kumite team category.

Vietnamese athletes had previously won two bronze medals in the individual kata and team kata events.

The 16th Asian Senior Karate Championship 2019 began on July 15 and saw 340 athletes from 33 countries take part in the seven-day competition.
