Vietnamese and international cyclists to compete at Ho Chi Minh City’s annual race

VOV.VN - Riders from 15 domestic and international teams will compete in the 37th Ho Chi Minh City Television Cycling Tournament - HTV Cup 2025, set to begin on April 3.

The race will feature 25 stages covering 3,052 km across 31 cities and provinces nationwide.

This year's course is just 268 km shorter than the iconic Tour de France, the world’s most prestigious cycling race. The tournament will welcome top international riders, including Youp Kuiper and Johny Hoogerland from the Netherlands, Nick Kergozou and Samuel Jenner from Australia, Oscar Sachez Caballero from Spain, and Mikhail Foki and Ivan Blokhin from Russia, some of whom have competed in renowned races like the Giro d'Italia.

The race will kick off in the northern province of Tuyen Quang on April 3 and conclude at Independence Palace in Ho Chi Minh City on April 30.

In addition to the coveted yellow jersey and championship trophy for the overall winner, the organizers will also award other individual honors, including the polka dot jersey for the King of the Mountain, the green jersey for the best sprinter, and the white jersey for the best young rider.
