Vietnam wins silver at World Junior, Cadet and U21 Championships
(VOV) - Vietnamese martial arts fighters won one silver and one bronze medal at the 2015 World Junior, Cadet and U21 Karate Championships which took place in Jakarta, Indonesia on November 12-15.
Accordingly, Vietnamese female martial artist Trang Cam Lanh bagged a silver medal in the U21 Kumite under 55kg category for women after losing a rival from Iran 0-2 in the final.
Besides, Vietnam also won a bronze medal in the female kata (performance) event.
The tournament attracted 1,441 martial artists from 91 countries and territories. Vietnam ranked 16th in the rankings.
