Vietnam wins gold medal in fencing at SEA Games 32

VOV.VN - Vietnamese fencers won a gold medal on May 15 in the men’s sabre team event at the 32nd SEA Games which is taking place in Cambodia.
The event saw local fencers, including Vu Thanh An, To Duc Anh, Nguyen Van Quyet, and Nguyen Xuan Loi successfully beat the Singaporean team 45-31 to win the title.
This comes after local fencer Vu Thanh An also bagged a silver medal in the men’s sabre individual event after losing out to Thai opponent Voragun Srinualnad 15-14.
Meanwhile, the female fencing team made up of Luu Thi Thanh Nhan, Pham Thi Ngoc Luyen, Ha Thi Van Anh, and Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong won a silver medal in the women's foil team event after losing out to Singapore in the final with a score of 43-25.
So far, the Vietnamese fencing team has claimed a total of three medals at the tournament.
