Vietnam wins four world Aerobic medals

Vietnam won four gold medals at the seventh World Age Group Competition in Incheon, the Republic of Korea, on June 15.

Nguyen Che Thanh earned his title in the boys’ single 15-17 years old category.

Also, Duo Giang Nam and Ngọc Anh triumphed in the mixed doubles 12-14 year old class, while Nguyễn Hoàng Phong and Thúy Vi topped the mixed doubles 15-17 year old pool.

Phong, Vi and Thanh then claimed the fourth gold medal, awarded in the group of three 15-17 years old discipline.

Vietnamese athletes also won two silver and three bronze medals in this tournament.

The 14th Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships will continue until Sunday.

Best competitors from Incheon will qualify for next year’s World Games.

The tournament, the largest in the International Gymnastics Federation, has received 40 delegations, including the world’s strongest teams, including Spain, France and Bulgaria.

Việt Nam landed in Incheon with 20 athletes, competing in 15 of the 17 events held at the Namdong Gymnasium.
