Vietnam win two silver medals at Portuguese Championship

Vietnam has won two silver medals at the 51st Portuguese International Badminton Championship.

In the mixed doubles’ final, Đo Tuan Duc and Pham Nhu Thao lost to M. Mikkelsen and M. Surrow of Denmark 19-21, 21-17, 19-21 in 49 minutes to take the silver medal.

In the men’s doubles’ final, Đuc and Pham Hong Nam were defeated by Yew Sin Ong and Ee Yi Teo of Malaysia 17-21, 22-24 in 39 minutes.

Vietnam sent five players to compete in the mixed doubles, men’s and women’s doubles events.

The next international championship Vietnam will compete in will be in Romania.
