Vietnam win Myanmar friendly tourney for U19s
Vietnam won the KBZ Bank Cup for U19s after defeating the U18 team of Consadole Sapporo 5-4 during a penalty shoot-out on August 28 in Mynamar.
The two teams, who met for the second time at this event, did not score goals in the officials and extra periods.
In the penalties, while the Vietnamese scored in all of their attempts, the Japanese club failed in their third shot.

The winner received US$15,000.
In the third-place play-off, Thailand beat hosts Myanmar 7-6 in the penalty shoot-out.
During the official 90 minutes, they drew 1-1.
Aung Kaung Mann opened the scoring at the 23rd minute for Myanmar, but the visitors leveled it in the last second of the first half, as Sirimongkol Jitbanjong scored.
Thailand won the bronze medal.
