Vietnam U16 team shuts out Singapore
VOV.VN - The U16 football squad handily defeated Singapore 3-0 on July 18 in the last match of group A at the eleventh edition of the 2016 U16 Southeast Asian Championship ongoing in Cambodia, according to multiple news agencies.

The team now advances to the semi-final round.
Football players Vu Dinh Hai, Nguyen Huu Thang and Nguyen Tran Viet Cuong each scored goals to bring victory against the rather inept offense and defensive play of their opponents.
In the upcoming semi-final round, the team will face off with either Cambodia, Laos or Timor-Leste.
