Vietnam to host Southeast Asian Women's Volleyball League 2024’s first stage

VOV.VN - The first stage of Southeast Asian Women's Volleyball League (SEA Women V.League) 2024 is to be held in Vietnam from August 2 to August 4, with Thailand set to be the venue for its second stage from August 9 to August 11.

The SEA V.League 2024, formerly known as the ASEAN Grand Prix, is an international women's volleyball tournament contested by four national teams that are members of ASEAN.

The ASEAN Grand Prix was first organised back in 2019, with Thailand notably winning the title in three previous competitions.

The Vietnamese team secured second place at SEA V-League 2023, whilst Thailand won the championship title last year. Indonesia won the third place with one win and two losses, with the winless Philippines in fourth position.

Meanwhile, SEA Men V.League 2024 will be organised in two stages. One will be held in the Philippines from August 16 to August 18 and the second in Indonesia from August 23 to August 25.
