Vietnam to compete in AVC Men's Nations Cup 2025 in June
VOV.VN - Vietnam’s national men’s volleyball team will join other teams from 11 countries and territories to vie for the championship title at the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Men's Nations Cup 2025 in Bahrain this June.

The Vietnamese team managed to qualify for this tournament thanks to their consistently strong performances in recent editions, having achieved the best results among Southeast Asian teams.
They finished fourth in 2023 and fifth in 2024, marking a steady presence in the upper tier of Asian men’s volleyball. They currently hold the 52nd position in the world rankings, as confirmed by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB).
The tournament, previously known as the AVC Challenge Cup, will feature 12 of Asia’s top national teams, including hosts Bahrain, as well as Qatar, Pakistan, the Republic of Korea, Kazakhstan, Australia, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, New Zealand, and Vietnam.
The 2025 AVC Nations Cup, formerly known as the AVC Challenge Cup, will take place from June 17 to 24 at the Isa bin Rashid Stadium in Bahrain.
The tournament brings together 12 top teams from the continent, including hosts Bahrain, Qatar, Pakistan, the Republic of Korea, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Australia, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and New Zealand.
