Vietnam surpasses Thailand to place fifth in AFC women’s club rankings
VOV.VN - Vietnam has risen to fifth in the AFC Women’s Club Competitions Ranking 2024/25, surpassing regional rivals Thailand, according to the Asian Football Confederation.
The country earned a total of 70.393 points, boosted by a strong debut from Ho Chi Minh City Women’s FC, who reached the semi-finals of the 2024/25 AFC Women’s Champions League.
Vietnam now leads Southeast Asia in the women’s club rankings, ahead of the Philippines in ninth and Thailand in tenth.
Australia tops the continental rankings, followed by the Republic of Korea and Japan. China, the UAE, Iran, and Chinese Taipei also made the Top 10.
