The team also secured championship titles in both individual and team competitions, helping Vietnam maintain its position among the region’s leading shooting nations.
The championships highlighted the growing depth of Vietnam’s shooting programme, with several young athletes delivering impressive performances in the Southeast Asian Youth Shooting Championships.
Among the standout results was Le Nguyen Thanh Nhi’s gold medal in the women’s individual 10m air pistol event. Thanh Nhi also helped Vietnam win the women’s team 10m air pistol title alongside Tran Thi Xuan Huong and Nguyen Ha Anh.

The emergence of new talent is expected to provide additional options for team selection as Vietnam prepares for future regional, continental and international competitions.
