Vietnam qualifies for World Championship’s quarterfinals
VOV.VN -The Vietnamese billiards team competing at the ongoing UMB World Three-cushion Championship for National Teams have reached the quarterfinals of the competition.

Following victories against Denmark and Greece they booked their place in the next round of the tournament in Viersen, Germany.
During the second match against Denmark on March 15, the Vietnamese players, Quoc Chien and Quoc Nguyen, struggled in the opening minutes and saw their opponents take the lead with a score of 11/2.
They then turned the tables and recorded a fantastic 40/32 win over Danish team in 26 moves.
In the decisive match of group C against Greece on March 16, Quoc Chien and Quoc Nguyen both showed their confidence and talent by beating a strong Greek team 40/19 after 17 moves.
The Vietnamese team finished Group C in first place to earn a spot in the quarter-finals, along with the Netherlands.
