Vietnam national team hold final training session in Myanmar

VOV.VN - The Vietnamese men’s football team participated in their final training session in Yangon on November 21 following the 0-0 draw with Myanmar in their third match of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018.

The national team held the session in the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar. Those players who were substitutes for the match including Van Quyet, Van Toan and Trong Hoang trained in the stadium, while the players who were selected to play against Myanmar returned to the hotel to do light exercise.
Whilst waiting for the players, head coach Park Hang-seo and his assistant Lee Young-jin used training cones to discuss tactics and issues that come up during the match between Vietnam and Myanmar.
The 59-year-old head coach gave his analysis of the Vietnamese team’s performance to his assistant.
During the press conference following the 0-0 draw, the Korean coach expressed his regret at the missed chances during the game.

The coach talks with goalies Bui Tien Dung and Nguyen Tuan Manh.
Captain Van Quyet wasn’t able to make much of an impression during the game against Myanmar.
Nguyen Trong Hoang was one of the 3 substitutes selected to play in Vietnam’s third match at the AFF Cup 2018.
Vietnamese footballers train intensively with the coaching staff.
The national team will return to Hanoi on November 21 in order to prepare for their next match against Cambodia which will take place at the Hang Day Stadium on November 24.
