Vietnam moves up one spot in FIFA Women’s World Rankings

VOV.VN - The Vietnamese national women’s football team have climbed one place in the latest FIFA Women’s World Rankings released for the second quarter of the year.

According to details given by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the women’s team have risen to 32nd spot with 1,657 points, one place higher than their position during the first quarter.

The Vietnamese team remain the sixth best team in Asia, with Australia leading the way in the region, followed by Japan and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in second and third, respectively.

The other teams to make up the best 10 Asian countries include China, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Chinese Taipei, Uzbekistan, and Myanmar.

Elsewhere, the US women’s national football team remain first in the world, followed by Germany, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, and England.
