Vietnam lose to Okayama in friendly match in Japan

Vietnam women’s national football team were beaten by two goals to nil by Okayama Club in a friendly match in Japan on August 5.

The match was organised in the city of Mimaska as practice match ahead of the Asian Games in Indonesia.

Earlier, Vietnam tied drew with Yunogo Belle 2-2. They will face Kibi Okayama on August 9 for their last game in the tour.

The Vietnam team, led by coach Mai Duc Chung, has a tough challenge ahead as they have been drawn in the same group with Japan and Thailand at the tournament which kicks off on August 18.
