Vietnam, Japan develop sports for disabled people

The Vietnam Paralympic Association had a working session with authorities from the Japanese prefecture of Nagasaki in Hanoi on April 26 to discuss the development of sports for people with disabilities in the two countries.
He hoped the Japanese prefecture will continuously help Vietnamese athletes and enable them to partake in friendly competitions held in both nations.
Parliamentarian Kobayashi Katsutoshi hailed Vietnam’s sports development in recent years, highlighting the two gold medals achieved by Vietnamese athletes at the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Brazil.
He said he welcomes Vietnamese athletes to join training courses in Japan and pledged to provide the optimal assistance for them from playing ground to accomodation.
