Vietnam enjoy win over South Africa in women’s U19 tournament
VOV.VN -The Vietnamese women's national U19 football team on May 8 recorded a comfortable 3-0 victory over their South African rivals during an ongoing international friendly tournament in China.

Vietnam played with confidence throughout and the opener came in the 12th minute. They doubled their lead in the 25th minute from the penalty spot.
There was no let off in the second half as the Vietnamese team showed their dominance with their third goal in the 54th minute.
The defeat leaves South Africa bottom of the table with zero points and Vietnam on three points after two games.
Vietnam are currently in third place in the group, only behind Thailand on goal differences.
In the next set of fixtures, South Africa are scheduled to play host nation China at 18:35 tonight while Vietnam will next play against Thailand in their final match at 14:00 on May 10.
