Vietnam draw Taipei 0-0 in friendly match

Vietnam's women's football team drew Chinese Taipei in a goalless friendly match on August 4 in Ha Nam Province.

Coach Norimatsu Takashi of Vietnam said his players did not perform well in the match as their Taipei rivals had better physique and body form. He said a lot of work was needed to improve the team's performance.

It was the second match between the two sides in Vietnam. Vietnam won the first match 3-2.

The friendly matches were part of both teams' preparations for their second Olympics qualifying round in Myanmar next month.

Vietnam will take part in a 12-day training course in Japan from August 24 to September 5.
