Vietnam alongside Australia at ASEAN U19 Boys’ Championship 2024
VOV.VN - The Vietnam national U19s men’s football team have been drawn in Group B alongside Laos, Myanmar, and Australia at the ASEAN U19 Boys’ Championship 2024, according to the result of the recent draw conducted by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF).
Group A consists of Cambodia, Timor Leste, the Philippines, and hosts Indonesia.
Elsewhere, Group C brings together Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei.
The ASEAN U19 Boys’ Championship 2024 is scheduled to take place in Indonesia from July 17 to July 29.
The top three teams and the best second-placed team will progress to the semi-final round. Following this, the two winning teams in semi-finals will vie for the championship title, whilst others will compete in a match to determine the third-placed winner.
A total of 30 young national team footballers have taken part in a training session in Hanoi. They will fly to China on June 2 as they head to compete in a friendly international tournament where they will face hosts China, the Republic of Korea, and Uzbekistan on June 4, June 8, and June 10, respectively.
