VFF TV channel brings football closer to fans

The television channel run by Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has proved effective after over 16 months of operation, contributing to bringing football closer to fans.

The remark was made by VFF Secretary General Le Hoai Anh at a meeting with the media on June 16 in Hanoi on the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21).

Anh said that the VFF Channel has hit 50 million views and over 100,000 subscribers since it was launched on Youtube on January 13, 2016. With the channel, VFF has become the first national football federation in Southeast Asia running a TV channel on Youtube.

So far, the VFF Channel has provided football lovers with updated news of domestic and world football.

In the coming time, the channel will continue to reform contents and services to improve its quality and better serve football lovers, said Anh, who also expressed hope for more support from football fans inside and outside the country.
