VFF fires head football coach Toshiya Miura

VOV.VN -Coach Miura has been fired as head coach of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), league officials announced on January 28 at a press conference.

VFF officials expressed appreciation toward Coach Miura and thanked him for all of his efforts at the helm, but said a "change in leadership" was required.


“After deliberate evaluation, the decision has been made to move our football program in a different direction with new leadership.”

Two Vietnamese coaches, Le Huynh Duc and Nguyen Huu Thang, are currently under consideration for the position.
