VOV.VN - Defeating Quang Hai and Tien Dung, Van Quyet, a Hanoi FC forward, has won the Golden Ball Award at a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on January 12.

In the 2020 football season, Van Quyet did not perform as well as in 2019, but he made an important contribution to Hanoi FC’s success, helping the side win the National Cup, the National Super Cup and finish second in the V-League 2020, the national No.1 football tournament.
Van Quyet was selected as the Best Player of the V. League 2020 and the Best Player of the Club. He played all 20 matches and scored 5 goals in the league. The 20-year-old player was also included in the outstanding team of the season.
The Silver Ball Award went to Viettel FC’s mid-fielder Bui Tien Dung while the Bronze Ball Award was won by Que Ngoc Hai, another Viettel FC mid-fielder. The duo performed prominently, helping Viettel keep clean sheets in five out of seven final matches and clinch the V. League championship title.
In the women category, striker Huynh Nhu secured the Golden Ball Award. The female player excelled in 2020, winning the national championship and National Cup titles together with HCM City FC team-mates.
