V-League tie among highest attendances in Southeast Asia
VOV.VN - A match held between Nam Ha Pharmaceutical Nam Dinh FC and Hanoi FC which took place at the Thien Truong stadium in the 11th round of the V-League 2019 season, has been named as the fixture with the fourth highest attendance in Southeast Asia.

According to statistics released by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF), the match saw a total of 19,000 football fans in attendance, a record figure as it became the highest attended match in V-League history.
Nam Dinh FC’s Thien Truong stadium regularly attracts a large number of football fans to matches, with a clash against champions Hanoi FC proving a huge lure for local supporters.
Indeed, Nam Dinh FC are gaining a reputation for their huge following. In the 15th round of the V-League 2019 an estimated 16,000 football fans were in attendance to cheer on the side.
Their enthusiasm has helped Nam Dinh FC to improve their fortunes and climb higher in this year’s V-League table.
As announced by the AFF, the highest attended match in the region took place between Persija Jakarta and Persib Bandung in Indonesia’s Liga 1 with 68,750 spectators in attendance.
In second was a clash between Selangor fa and Johor Daruh Ta'zim in Malaysia’s Premier League with 31,062 fans.
Third place went to a fixture between Buriram United and Muangthong United in the Thai League with 27,009 supporters in attendance.
