UK Ambassador joins int’l marathon in Sapa

VOV.VN - UK Ambassador to Vietnam Giles Lever got the fourth place in the 70 km event of the Vietnam Mountain Marathon which concluded in Sapa, the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai on September 25.

He finished the 70km race after running through numerous mountainous and hilly roads and beautiful valleys in one of the most beautiful mountain regions of Vietnam. 

This is the second time the UK diplomat has participated in such an event. In 2015, he joined a 42-km marathon.

This year’s marathon attracted more than 1,500 runners to compete in different distances - 10km, 21km, 42km, 70km and 100km.
