U22 Vietnam lose to Uzbekistan in friendly

Vietnam’s national U22 team lost to Uzbekistan 1-3 in the last match of the friendly international tournament in Wuhan, China on November 13.

Uzbekistan scored two goals in the first half.


After the break, Vietnam played attack to narrow the gap. After a number of efforts, Vietnam shortened the gap to 1-2 in the 72th minute.

Four minutes later, Uzbekistan raised the score to 3-1.

Vietnam had several chances to score in the final minutes of the match but failed.

Earlier, Vietnam tied with China 1-1 and drew 0-0 with Mexico.
