U18 squad to face RoK and Japan at Seoul EOU Cup 2025
VOV.VN - Vietnam's U18 national football team will compete against the Republic of Korea (RoK) and Japan at the Seoul EOU Cup 2025, an international friendly tournament scheduled for September 21-28 in Seoul.
Following the draw, the host team is placed in Group A alongside the K League Selection Team (the top U18 players from the K League), Zhejiang Professional U18 from China, and the Kanto University Selection Team (the leading U19 players from Japan’s Kanto region).
Group B features four teams, including Seoul FA Gangneung Jungang High School (U18 National Tournament Champions), Johor Darul Ta’zim U18 (Malaysia’s strongest U18 squad), and Buriram United U18 (Thailand’s U18 powerhouse).
Under the guidance of Japanese coach Yutaka Ikeuchi, the players are undergoing a training camp in Hanoi until September 19 before departing to RoK for the tournament.
