U13 PVF crush Shunde Eastern 11–0 in dominant display in China
VOV.VN - Vietnam’s U13 PVF sent shockwaves by crushing hosts U13 Shunde Eastern 11–0 at the international youth FT Cup 2026 in Guangdong, China, on February 3.
Coached by Tran Duy Quang, the Vietnamese side adopted an aggressive attacking approach from the outset, instead of the cautious style often seen in international openers. Their dominance was quickly reflected on the scoreboard, with the hosts conceding five goals in the first half alone.
U13 PVF maintained high pressing intensity after the break, as Shunde Eastern’s resistance faded with declining fitness. The Vietnamese youngsters capitalised fully, adding six more goals to seal a stunning 11–0 victory.
The standout performer was striker Pham Quang Khai, who delivered a sensational display by scoring seven goals, accounting for more than 60% of his team’s total tally.
The emphatic win not only secured three points but also propelled U13 PVF to the top of Group E with a goal difference of +11, providing a significant psychological and statistical advantage in the race for a knockout berth.
While Shunde Eastern may not represent the toughest opposition in the competition, PVF’s modern playing style and remarkable finishing efficiency highlighted the Promotion Fund of Vietnamese Football Talent Football Academy (PVF) ’s thorough preparation for international competition, reinforcing the growing stature of Vietnamese youth football on the regional stage.
