Trinh Thu Vinh ranks eighth in women's 10m air pistol global standings
VOV.VN - Vietnamese shooter Trinh Thu Vinh finished in eighth position in the list of the world’s top 10 women 10-metre air pistol, as announced by the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF).
In 2024, she secured a gold medal at the Asian Shooting Championships and finished among the top four in the women’s 10m air pistol event at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Besides Vinh was named Vietnam’s most outstanding athlete of 2024 in a national poll organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
In the ISSF’s rankings, her teammate Le Thi Mong Tuyen ranked 100th in global list of women 10-metre air pistol.
Yeji Kim of the Republic of Korea (RoK) took the lead, followed by Ranxin Jiang of China and Yejin Oh of the RoK.
