Trinh Thu Vinh named among world’s top 10 women 25-metre pistol event
VOV.VN - Vietnamese shooter Trinh Thu Vinh was placed in 10th position in the list of the world’s top 10 women 25-metre pistol event, as announced by the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF).
According to the governing body of the Olympic shooting events ISSF, Thu Vinh ranked seventh in the 25-metre pistol women's final at the 2024 Paris Olympics on August 3.
With this good result, she climbed from 29th position to 10th position in the ISSF’s global rankings. Shooter Yang Jiin of the Republic of Korea took the lead in the world’s top 10 women 25-metre pistol event.
Camille Jewski of France and Doreen Vennekamp of Germany came second and third, respectively. Furthermore, Thu Vinh claimed 17th position in the list of the world’s top 10 women 10-metre air pistol event.
Earlier on July 29 she had finished fourth in the women's 10-metre air pistol final at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Kim Yeji of the Republic of Korea topped the ISSF’s world rankings in the women's 10-metre air pistol.
