Transfermarkt names two VN players with highest market value

VOV.VN - Vietnamese midfielders Nguyen Hoang Duc of Viettel FC and Quang Hai of Hanoi FC have both been valued at Є400,000 each, equal to VND10 billion, on the renowned German football site Transfermarkt.

They represent the Vietnamese football players with the highest transfer value.

In addition, Transfermarkt also increased the market value of Tien Linh, a key forward for the Vietnam national team, from Є300,000 to Є350,000.

Van Toan and Ho Tan Tai are valued at Є325,000, while Bui Tien Dung has a price tag of Є300,000.

Elsewhere, the website believed Cong Phuong and Thanh Chung are each worth Є275,000.

The total transfer value of the Vietnamese men’s football team stands at Є5.45 million, far exceeding Є1.73 million recorded in 2019 as the team reached the quarterfinals of the Asian Cup.

This increase in the transfer value can be put down to the significant achievements recorded by Vietnamese football internationally. Indeed, recent years has even seen some Vietnamese players join foreign clubs in both Asia and Europe.

In Southeast Asia, the transfer value of the Vietnamese squad surpassed that of Indonesia, although Thailand are the most valuable team in the region with a market value of Є11.1 million.
