VOV.VN - Vietnamese midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai has been valued at Є400,000, equal to VND10 billion, and tops the list of Vietnamese footballers with the highest market value, according to renowned German football site Transfermarkt.
Quang Hai’s valuation comes after he recently signed a two-year contract with French Ligue 2 side Pau FC on a free transfer. His market value makes him the 13th most valuable player at Pau FC, with goalkeeper Stefan Bajic the most valuable player at Є1.8 million.
Elsewhere, midfielder Nguyen Hoang Duc of Viettel FC ranked second among the local footballers with the highest market value at Є400,000.
Nguyen Tien Linh, a key forward for the Vietnam national team, remained in third position with a transfer value of Є350,000.
Furthermore, fourth and fifth places went to Nguyen Van Toan and Ho Tan Tai who were valued at Є325,000 each, while defender Que Ngoc Hai was worth Є300,000.
Moreover, the website values Nguyen Cong Phuong and Do Hung Dung at Є275,000 and Є250,000, respectively.
In addition, Transfermarkt reduced the market value of Dang Van Lam from Є300,000 to Є200,000.
